The meeting takes place online, and its main purpose is for us to get to know each other personally and to answer your questions. Of course, I will also present my teaching approach in detail, and if we both decide to work together, we'll start improving your German right away!
There are many advantages, such as faster progress, more efficient learning, personalization, and flexibility in scheduling. Since the lessons are online, my students have 100% flexibility not only in terms of time but also location.
Yes, all lessons are with me personally. This is the only way I can guarantee my students' satisfaction.
There's no one-size-fits-all answer to this. It mainly depends on how quickly you want to improve and how much time you have for German each week. Typically, students take between 1 and 3 hours per week.
The package hours are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
My students have access to my calendar and can schedule their sessions themselves. They can also reschedule or cancel sessions. Sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 12 hours before the lesson starts. After that, 50% will be charged. If the session is not cancelled or rescheduled up to 2 hours before the scheduled start time, 100% will be charged.
No, I also have clients who live in other countries and, for example, want to gain customers in German-speaking countries or are looking for a job in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
Of course. There's an invoice for every purchase. In addition, each student has a table showing the lessons already held. This and other documents (such as lesson notes) are always accessible to the student via a link.
Yes. I only teach everyday German to beginners (A1 and A2 levels) because a foundation must be laid before starting with Business German.
For B1 and B2, my lessons are usually a mix of Business German and grammar. Why grammar? Because for a professional and confident appearance, it's also important to understand the language well and make as few mistakes as possible.
For C1 and C2, the main focus is then on Business German, vocabulary work, formulations, idioms, and fluent and confident performance.
Yes, always, and to make rapid progress, I also recommend doing it reliably.
Yes, I also have some students from the IT sector. However, I must point out that I don't have in-depth knowledge in this area. Therefore, I don't recommend developers and technicians from a C1 level onwards to book with me, because then it's about nuances, and I lack the technical expertise in this area
Besides German as my native language, I speak fluent English and Spanish. I am currently learning French, but I am only just starting at the B1 level.
